Qualifications
Current GISD Employee with employment for the ***** school year
Certification requirement in area of subject
Minimum three (3) years teaching experience
Responsibilities
Proactively own the work of leading the early college cohort content teachers
Build trusting relationships with campus and district administrators, content coordinators, and teachers
Mentor early college teachers and provide frequent and ongoing career development (scheduling, marketing, and leading PLCs) in collaboration with content coordinators
Communicate regularly with district administrators and remind early college teachers of important training dates
Lead Teacher Selection
One early college content lead teacher will be selected for each of the following areas: ELAR, Math, Science, Social Studies and MAPS/AVID.
The lead teacher must be a classroom teacher teaching in an early college cohort.
