Align with the MACS Vision for Instruction and MACS Vision for Engagement.
Proven capability in delivering explicit instruction in key areas such as Literacy and Numeracy.
Understand cognitive load theory.
Implement best practice instruction, curriculum planning (evidence-based, knowledge-rich, coherent and sequenced) and assessment practice.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
Key Requirements:
VIT registration and accreditation to teach in a Catholic school (or willingness to undertake accreditation).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusting, learning-focused relationships with staff, students and families.
A commitment to child safety and wellbeing.




A proactive approach to qualified growth, including giving and receiving feedback.
