Lead finance for the Asia-Pacific region
Ensure external financial reporting complies with accounting standards and local tax regulations
Govern internal financial reporting, including monthly, year-end and interim reporting
Set and administer the regional financial governance model covering controls, compliance, reporting and business systems
Develop regional finance team capability through succession planning, mentoring and training
Own regional input to annual budgets, including consolidation and rigorous review
Own regional input to major forecasting processes and rolling forecasts
Support the Group Financial Controller with execution plans, priorities and policies
Liaise with Group Tax and Treasury on issues, queries and information requests
Support acquisition reviews, divestments and troubleshooting projects
Oversee finance-related system projects and support global ERP teams
Analyze regional costs and identify cost, cash and profit improvement opportunities
Report regional costs and performance to regional management
Requirements
Degree qualified
Further professional finance body related qualification
Senior finance leadership experience within a complex, business-focused workplace
Demonstrated leadership in safety and wellbeing
Proven experience leading teams across multiple geographies
Strong influencing skills and ability to shape outcomes
Sound knowledge of finance practices and relevant legislative frameworks
Current knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
Demonstrated capability in corporate governance and effective decision making
Awareness of external factors and their influence on regional strategy and performance
Track record of delivering performance targets, annual budgets and long-term forecasts
Ability to develop and implement innovative, long-term solutions
Ability to establish cross-cultural working relationships
Ability to work effectively across different cultures with a global mindset
