IKC Structures designs, manufactures and builds premium sheds, steel structures, steel fabrication projects and intensive farming facilities throughout South Australia.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our growing team.
n
This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Clare office.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
n
Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date
n
Prepare and lodge BAS, payroll tax and other statutory reporting obligations
n
Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting and financial planning
n
Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to improve business outcomes
n
Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts
n
Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external accountants and auditors
n




Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation requirements and relevant legislation
n
Monitor financial transactions and identify discrepancies or areas for process improvement
n
Provide financial information and advice to management to support business decision-making
n
n
Essential Requirements:
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline
n
At least two years of relevant accounting experience
n
Robust knowledge of Australian accounting principles and taxation requirements
n
Experience using accounting software such as Xero or MYOB
n
Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills
n
High level of attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
