Troocoo Healthcare is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse for a short-term contract within a remote healthcare service located in Boulia, Western Queensland. Working in a highly autonomous workplace, you will provide essential healthcare services to a rural and remote community while being supported by local administrative and operational staff.

$*****-$****** per hour base rate

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
n
On-call and recall responsibilities required after hours and on weekends

Full availability for the advertised dates is essential

About the Role
n
This position offers the opportunity to work as part of a small rural healthcare team supporting a local community and surrounding remote properties.
n
You will be required to:
n
n
Deliver high-quality primary and community healthcare services
n
Respond to urgent presentations where required
n




Work autonomously within a rural and remote setting
n
Support community health initiatives
n
Collaborate with emergency services and retrieval providers as required
n
n
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
n
n
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
n
Previous experience working within Queensland's public health system
n
Demonstrated Rural and Remote nursing experience
n
Clinical Nurse level experience
n
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
n
Adult Advanced Life Support (ALS)
n
Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
n
Current Triage competency
n
Strong assessment and decision‐making skills
n
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
n
