Senior Projects Engineer / Technical Project Lead Robert Half is working with an established Perth technology business looking to add an experienced Senior Projects Engineer to its team.
This is a senior, hands-on technical position for someone who enjoys taking ownership of infrastructure projects, working across a broad technology environment and providing technical direction to both customers and internal teams.
The role will sit across the Projects and Solutions function and will suit someone operating at a strong Level 3 / Senior Engineer level who is comfortable taking a project from initial scoping and design through to implementation and handover.
The type of work will include: Scoping, planning and delivering infrastructure projects end-to-end Microsoft 365 and SharePoint projects Server upgrades, migrations and infrastructure refreshes Networking projects including switches and broader network changes Office moves and technology deployments Working across multiple customer environments, domains and technology stacks Providing technical guidance and direction across projects Working closely with internal engineers and customers to define appropriate technical solutions Identifying risks,



dependencies and technical requirements before implementation Supporting and mentoring less experienced engineers where required Contributing to the development of new solutions and technologies, including emerging AI use cases About You You'll likely come from a Senior Systems Engineer, Level 3 Engineer, Projects Engineer or Technical Lead background and have broad infrastructure experience rather than specialising in one narrow technology.
You should be comfortable working independently, making technical decisions and taking ownership of projects, while still being hands-on when required.
Experience across several of the following would be highly regarded: Microsoft 365 SharePoint Azure Windows Server Active Directory / Entra ID Networking, switching and routing Server and infrastructure migrations Modern Workplace technologies Infrastructure design and implementation Project scoping and technical documentation Working across multiple customer environments This is an opportunity to step into a senior position with genuine technical ownership and play an significant role in how the Projects and Solutions capability develops going forward.
