To build skills and competencies of Underground Operations personnel to safely and effectively perform the tasks associated with their roles.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in an end to end training role that; identifies training needs, sources best-practice training resources to match those needs, deliver the training, assess competency and record data.
This role is offered on an 7/7 residential roster in Rosebery or DIDO.
Qualifications, skills competencies Proven competency in the operation of Integrated Tool carriers, UG Dump Trucks,
LHD units and Tele-Remote Boggers as well as Development Production Charging and installation of Services Proven competency in the operation of Development and Production Drill Rigs, mechanised Cable Bolting units, and MMU units desirable Minimum 5 years' experience in Underground Metalliferous mines in the role of Miner Effective relationship-building and collaborative skills Hazard identification Cert IV Training Assessing TAE ***** or Higher Australian manual drivers licence.
Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint Responsibilities include Provide training and assessment services to the Mining Department including MTS, Maintenance and other operational areas as required Facilitate the collection and storage of accurate training and assessment records in the approved MMG Learning Management System Maintain an up to date skills matrix for the underground, MTS and Underground Maintenance operations which allows supervisors to clearly identify who is competent to undertake defined tasks Monitor mining contractor records for compliance Maintain clear and concise manuals, procedures and work instructions as required Assist with the development and/or revision of training packages and assessment resources Ensure continuous improvement by recognising and reporting deficiencies in the training systems or tools and assisting with remedial actions to correct those deficiencies Respond to training/assessment requests either planned or ad hoc in a timely manner Delivery of training packages/programs and awareness sessions as directed by the site training coordinator and/or departmental manager If you're ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role that empowers you to shape your work environment, we invite you to apply and join us in our pursuit of efficient and sustainable mining operations.
