Details Work Type: Contract Duration: 1–2 weeks Pay Rate: $75+ Rate Type: Hourly Whats on Offer: Description Power BI Power Automate Specialist - Contract Oppoturnity Sydney CBD | Contract / Project-Based | On-site We're looking for an experienced Power BI Power Automate Specialist to work with E4 People on a series of data, reporting and automation projects.
This isn't simply a dashboard-building role.
We already have access to our operational data and a strong understanding of the business.
We're looking for someone who can bring the technical expertise to turn that data into scalable reporting and automation solutions, while also challenging us on what else we could be doing.
You'll work directly with our internal team to understand how the business operates, identify opportunities, design solutions and then build them.
What you'll work on Initial projects will include: Designing and building Power BI dashboards across operational, financial and workforce performance Developing data models and measures to turn operational data into meaningful business insights Building Power Automate workflows to reduce manual administration and improve visibility across the business Connecting and transforming data from multiple systems and sources Automating reporting and information flows Reviewing existing processes and identifying additional opportunities for automation Helping us establish scalable approaches to Power BI and Power Automate as our use of the Microsoft Power Platform grows We don't expect you to simply build from a specification.
We want someone who can look at a business problem, understand what we're trying to achieve and recommend a better way of approaching it where appropriate.
What we're looking for You'll ideally have strong experience with:



Microsoft Power BI Power Automate Power Query DAX and data modelling APIs and system integrations Microsoft 365 ecosystem Building automated workflows using email, structured data and other triggers Designing dashboards for operational and executive audiences Translating business requirements into practical technical solutions Experience working with recruitment, workforce management, healthcare, skilled services or other operationally complex businesses would be highly regarded, but isn't essential.
The type of person we're looking forYou'll suit this project if you're comfortable sitting with a business stakeholder, understanding a problem and saying: "Yes, we can build that, but here's what I'd recommend instead."
We're interested in someone who combines technical capability with commercial thinking .
You should be comfortable working independently, asking questions and suggesting opportunities we may not have considered.
Engagement This will initially be a contract/project engagement , with the potential for ongoing work as additional reporting and automation opportunities are identified.
We're based in Sydney CBD and want someone who can spend time with us in the office.
We're open to discussing either day-rate or milestone-based arrangements depending on experience and the nature of the project.
