We are seeking a Mainframe Database Services Lead to join our Mainframe Delivery Centre within our Enterprise Solutions and Technology business area.
As a
Mainframe Database Services Lead
, you'll provide leadership for the ATO's mainframe database services, ensuring the continued delivery of secure, reliable and resilient platforms that support critical business operations across the organisation.
You will lead a team of highly skilled technical specialists responsible for the ongoing performance, availability, security, recovery and operational integrity of enterprise mainframe database services.
You'll be accountable for setting the strategic direction of the team, driving operational excellence and ensuring services continue to meet current and future business requirements.
Working across a complex technology environment, you'll collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, project teams, vendors and service providers to deliver both strategic and operational outcomes.
You'll provide authoritative technical advice, influence decision-making and help shape the future direction of mainframe database services within the ATO.
You will play a key role in leading capability uplift, workforce development and continuous improvement initiatives,



fostering a high-performing and cooperative team culture.
You'll also contribute to modernisation activities, service optimisation and risk management to ensure the long-term sustainability and resilience of business-critical platforms.
This role may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in
Canberra or Melbourne CBD
.
