Role purpose Provide end-to-end technical leadership for the Collections engineering capability supporting Cards Modernisation.
The role spans data engineering, integration architecture, cloud platforms, PCC and .
NET services and will guide how Collections transitions from legacy Cards dependencies to HPS and commbank.data.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end technical architecture for Cards Modernisation impacts to Collections.
Define integration patterns between HPS, commbank.data, Snowflake, Collections and PCC.
Establish stable Collections data contracts that reduce dependency on source-system implementation details.
Provide technical leadership across Snowflake, PySpark, AWS/DHP and .
NET.
Define standards for data quality, lineage, observability and production resilience.
Lead migration, coexistence and parallel-run approaches.
Guide API, batch and event-driven integration patterns.
Lead complex cross-platform production investigations.
Mentor Staff and Senior Engineers.
Influence engineering decisions across multiple teams.
