The Role As the General Manager, you will take the reins of a high-performing tourism and accommodation operation, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving sustainable business growth.
Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you'll lead an experienced leadership team, work closely with key stakeholders and ensure operational excellence across all areas of the property.
Key responsibilities include: Delivering consistently high standards across accommodation, food and beverage, guest services, and resort facilities.
Leading, mentoring, and developing department managers and frontline teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.




Driving financial performance through effective budgeting, cost management, revenue optimisation, and strategic decision-making.
Developing strong relationships with local tourism bodies, suppliers, community stakeholders, and business partners.
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, workplace health and safety requirements, food safety standards, and company policies.
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing initiatives that enhance both guest satisfaction and commercial performance.
Building a positive, accountable, and inclusive workplace culture.
Representing the property and the G'Day Group within the local Hahndorf and Adelaide Hills tourism community.
About You We're looking for an experienced, hands-on hospitality leader who thrives in dynamic environments and understands what it takes to operate a successful accommodation and tourism business.
You will be innovative, commercially focused, customer-centric, and passionate about developing people.
To succeed in this role, you'll bring: Extensive experience as a General Manager within a high-performing resort, hotel, holiday park, or tourism operation with accommodation and food and beverage offerings.
A strong history of tenure and career progression within the hospitality industry, demonstrating your ability to deliver meaningful results in each role.
