Working closely with internal teams and suppliers, you'll assist with purchasing activities, inventory management and freight coordination while ensuring safe and efficient store operations.
Key responsibilities include: Raising and managing purchase orders Following up suppliers regarding orders and delivery schedules Receiving and checking incoming goods Maintaining inventory records and stock levels Assisting with stocktakes and inventory audits Coordinating freight movements and dispatch requirements Loading and unloading freight safely Building positive relationships with suppliers and site personnel Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within purchasing and stores operations Maintaining safe work practices and compliance requirements About You We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised and willing to learn.




You don't need years of purchasing experience to be successful in this role.
To be considered, you'll have: Essential Perth based Full unrestricted Australian C Class Driver's Licence High Risk Work Licence - Forklift Strong organisational and time management skills Good communication and customer service skills Basic computer skills and confidence learning recent systems Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug alcohol screening Desirable Previous experience in a purchasing, stores, warehousing, logistics or administration role Experience using inventory, procurement or ERP systems Mining industry experience Crushing and screening industry experience Certificate in Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain (or working towards one) Why MLG?
