Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks and holes, and applying primers as required.
Apply paints, varnishes, stains, sealants, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
Carry out interior and exterior painting works across new homes, renovations, extensions, townhouses, and other residential projects.

prepare, mix, and match paints to achieve specified colours, shades, textures, and finishes.
Interpret job specifications, plans, colour requirements, and project instructions to achieve the required finish.
Apply decorative finishes, protective coatings, and specialised finishes in accordance with project requirements.
Inspect completed painting work, undertake touch-ups and corrections, and ensure all finishes meet required quality standards.
Maintain tools and equipment, follow workplace health and safety procedures, and coordinate effectively with supervisors and other tradespeople on-site.
Qualifications Experience Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or an equivalent relevant qualification.
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience working as a Painter.
Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, coatings, finishes, and surface preparation methods.
Experience working on residential construction, renovation, or similar painting projects.
Ability to confidently use brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other painting tools and equipment.
Ability to understand and follow job specifications, plans, instructions, and project requirements.
Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality finishes.
Reliable, punctual, hardworking, physically capable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
