About the Opportunity
As Senior Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a diverse portfolio spanning metropolitan, regional and rural communities across NSW.
You will translate organisational priorities into strong service, people and community outcomes, ensuring services respond to local needs.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a highly visible and connected leader, building trusted relationships across your geographic area and representing Wellways with key stakeholders, community partners and local networks.
You will lead across services spanning Byron Bay, Lismore, Coffs Harbour, Kempsey and Port Macquarie, fostering connection, collaboration and shared purpose across a geographically dispersed portfolio.
This is an opportunity to lead with purpose and make a meaningful difference across a diverse region.
You will have the privilege of bringing Wellways' strategy to life in local communities, shaping service excellence and participant outcomes, strengthening partnerships and identifying opportunities for service development and growth.
With stewardship of financial performance, governance, risk and resources, you will create the conditions for sustainable, high-quality services and a culture of accountability, wellbeing, innovation and continuous improvement.
You can be based at any of the service locations across the region, with applicants based in or close to Coffs Harbour particularly encouraged to apply.




Regular travel and a strong presence across the region are essential to building trusted relationships, supporting leaders and maintaining connection with local communities, participants and services.
About You
You are an experienced, values-led leader who combines strategic thinking with strong operational focus.
You bring a proven track record of leading complex services, developing leaders and building trusted partnerships that deliver positive outcomes for people and communities.
You are confident leading large, geographically dispersed portfolios across regional and rural communities, creating connection and shared purpose across diverse locations while balancing local community needs with organisational priorities.
You bring strong strategic planning, business development and service improvement capability, with experience identifying opportunities, building partnerships and leading change and transformation.
You have confidently led teams through change, demonstrating sound judgement, resilience and adaptability while maintaining a focus on performance, wellbeing and quality outcomes.
You are committed to participant-centred practice, inclusion, cultural safety and lived experience, and bring strong financial management, governance and risk capability.
An excellent communicator and influencer, you build trusted relationships across a dispersed workforce and with government, community and sector stakeholders.
You foster accountability, collaboration, wellbeing and continuous improvement, while empowering leaders and teams to deliver.
