The Role As a Special Education Teacher, you will: Develop and deliver individualised learning programs Plan engaging and differentiated lessons Teach literacy, numeracy and other curriculum areas Support communication, wellbeing and personal development Build student independence and self-management skills Use explicit and evidence-based teaching strategies Support positive behaviour Work closely with Education Support staff and allied-health professionals Monitor and celebrate individual student progress Connect learning to real-world experiences Support students with community access, vocational learning and future pathways Real-World Learning A key focus of the school is preparing students for life beyond the classroom .
