As a Data Center Operational Security Specialist Intern, you will be tasked with driving operational security excellence within our Data Centers.
You will write reports, create presentations and communicate with management on the status of physical security operations.
As an intern, you will participate in our 12-week internship program in our London Data Centers.

Key job responsibilities As a Data Center Security Specialist Intern, you will be tasked with driving operational security excellence within our Data Centers.
Your constant vigilance will discover physical security gaps and shortcomings, which you will drive to fix.
You will interface and direct vendors involved in current security construction, repairs, daily security operations and patrols, and planning.
You will extract metrics and observe improvements by looking at hard data.
You will make suggestions on improving electronic surveillance and access controls.
You will direct efforts to educate data center occupants on false alarm reductions.
You will write and implement security process and procedures.
Your position will require you to write reports, create presentations and communicate with management on the status of physical security operations.




A day in the life A typical day begins with reviewing overnight incident logs and access requests before joining senior staff on facility walkthroughs to inspect badge readers, biometric scanners, and surveillance systems.
Between rounds, the intern helps plan for operational activity support and contributes to continuous improvement projects that enhance security processes.
The day wraps up with a summary of observations and lessons learned, steadily building the real-world expertise needed to protect critical infrastructure.
#auta-sg #auta-asean BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Currently enrolled in school student working towards a Bachelor's degree - Expected graduation from Dec **** to Aug **** - Candidates must be able to legally work in Singapore - Excellent English written and verbal communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Knowledge of access control and video surveillance software applications (eg. LENEL or C-cure).
- Interest in investigating accidents, thefts, disturbances, and discrepancies.
- Desire to work in a facility observing security gaps in physical barriers, security officer procedure, policies, surveillance equipment, and alarm points.
- Ability to drive campaigns to raise awareness and improve processes.
- Knowledge of workflow ticketing, that includes extraction of performance metrics.
- Ability to write detailed reports.
