The Motor Vehicle Registry (MVR) is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our team in Nhulunbuy.
In this rewarding role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering professional service across front counter and contact centre environments while supporting the effective operation of the MVR network.
About the Role As a Customer Service Officer, you will: Deliver high-quality customer service in both face-to-face and telephone environments.
Process vehicle registration and driver licensing transactions accurately and efficiently.
Provide advice and information on driver licensing and vehicle registration matters.
Maintain accurate records using a range of computer systems and databases.
Undertake cash and EFTPOS transactions, daily balancing and reconciliations.
Support customers through licensing tests and other specialised MVR services.

Experience handling cash and processing financial transactions accurately.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong administration and data entry capabilities.

A commitment to maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
Desirable Experience Contact centre or call centre experience.
Knowledge of driver licensing and vehicle registration legislation, policies and procedures,
or the ability to quickly learn and apply legislation.
