About the role
The
Retail Sales
is a
Full-time
position, based at
Cairns
.
Reporting to
the Store Manager
you will join our
Gyprock Trade Centre
and assist in customer service, sales and some warehouse duties.
In this role you will:
Provide exceptional customer service to all customers through in-person, email, and telephone enquiries.
Assist with the day-to-day operations of the store, including general warehouse duties when needed.
Support customers by helping load smaller items into their vehicles when required.
Process orders, invoices, and payments accurately and efficiently.
Maintain high standards of store presentation, visual displays, and merchandising.
Enjoy an early finish each day, giving you more time for family, hobbies, or personal commitments in the afternoon.
This full-time role is worked
Monday to Friday
, with rostered hours between
6:00am to 3:00pm
.
Additional hours worked beyond the standard
38-hour week are paid at overtime rates
, with opportunities for extra earnings when business requirements arise.
What we're looking for
Experience in retail, trade supplies, hardware, automotive parts, or similar industries is highly regarded.
Good communication and computer skills.
A valid forklift licence is desirable, or a willingness to obtain one.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Previous experience using SAP is desirable.
