Job description Project Administrator | Construction Insurance 3-Month Contract | $43 per hour + super | Potential Permanent Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Project Administrator to join the roofing division of a well-established construction group.
This is an initial 3-month contract with the prospect to transition into a permanent position for the right person.
About the role:Working within a busy and collaborative office environment, you'll provide administrative and coordination support across the project and trades teams, helping keep jobs moving from initial insurance claim through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include: Managing and updating jobs throughout the project lifecycle Coordinating and scheduling activities for trades Supporting the administration and progression of insurance claims Entering and maintaining accurate claim and job information using Prime Answering incoming calls and responding to customer and stakeholder enquiries Providing a high level of customer service Supporting internal teams with general administration Proactively identifying tasks and opportunities to support the wider team Learning the business and taking on additional responsibilities as your knowledge develops About you: You'll ideally have previous administration or coordination experience, with exposure to insurance claims and an understanding of how a claim progresses from lodgement through to completion.
Construction or building industry experience will be highly regarded, although this does not need to be specifically within administration.

with strong communication skills and a willingness to get involved and learn.
