MARS Recruitment is seeking experienced Remote Area Nurses and Primary Health Care Managers for multiple contract opportunities across remote communities in Central Australia.
We have a wide selection of communities and contract options available, including longer-term placements and opportunities over the Christmas and Recent Year period.

About the roles As a Remote Area Nurse, you will provide autonomous, culturally responsive primary healthcare within a remote community clinic.
Depending on the community and position, your responsibilities may include: Primary healthcare and emergency response Triage,
assessment and autonomous clinical decision-making Chronic disease management Child and family health Health promotion and preventative care Medication management Coordinating patient retrievals and referrals Working alongside Aboriginal Health Practitioners and multidisciplinary teams Maintaining accurate clinical documentation N5 Primary Health Care Managers will also provide clinical leadership, oversee day-to-day clinic operations and support the delivery of safe, effective and culturally appropriate healthcare services.
Essential requirements To be considered, you will generally require: Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Recent Remote Area Nursing and primary healthcare experience Confidence working autonomously in a remote environment REC or an accepted equivalent emergency care qualification MEC or an accepted equivalent maternity emergency qualification Current four-wheel-drive certification Current BLS and mandatory training Required immunisation evidence National Police Check and relevant working-with-children clearance Ability to satisfy Northern Territory compliance and onboarding requirements Previous experience working within Aboriginal health services or remote Northern Territory communities will be highly regarded.
