Our client is seeking to add a Business Development Manager to support commercial growth, strengthen market presence, develop strategic partnerships, identify new opportunities, and contribute to sustainable business performance across the hospitality and tourism market.
The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: • Develop and implement business development strategies to increase accommodation sales, market reach and customer loyalty.
• Identify new corporate, tourism, travel and partnership opportunities aligned with the property's growth objectives.
• Analyse tourism trends, competitor activity, customer demand and market conditions to guide commercial decisions.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with travel partners, corporate clients, suppliers and industry stakeholders.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, partnership arrangements and service contracts to support profitable business growth.
• Set sales targets, monitor performance indicators and recommend corrective actions to improve commercial outcomes.
• Coordinate marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness and promote the villas to targeted customer segments.
• Evaluate new business opportunities using financial, operational, market and risk analysis before making recommendations.
• Manage business development projects, including budgets, resources, implementation schedules and performance monitoring.




• Provide management with regular reports on market trends, sales performance, opportunities and commercial risks.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure business development initiatives align with guest service requirements.
• Develop strategies to encourage repeat bookings, customer loyalty and stronger engagement with target markets.
• Maintain awareness of tourism, accommodation and regulatory developments that may affect business operations.
• Represent the business in negotiations, networking activities and strategic discussions with prospective commercial partners.
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role: • Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Business, Management, Commerce or another closely related discipline.
• Have at least five years of relevant experience in business development, corporate management or comparable commercial leadership roles.
• Demonstrate strong capability in identifying, evaluating and developing new business opportunities that support sustainable organisational growth.
• Show proven experience building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, suppliers, partners and relevant industry stakeholders.
• Possess solid commercial awareness, including the ability to analyse market conditions, financial performance, risks and growth opportunities.
• Demonstrate experience developing sales or business strategies, setting performance targets and monitoring results against commercial objectives.
• Have strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills suitable for managing commercial agreements and strategic business partnerships.
• Demonstrate the ability to leverage professional networks and business resources to expand market reach and support company growth.
