Description Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team in a casual role within the Intereach – Deniliquin Family Centre.
This position is vital for fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for preschool and out-of-school hours (OOSH) children.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the development and well-being of young learners, ensuring they receive high-quality educational experiences that align with our organisational values.
Responsibilities: Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development and learning.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children in both preschool and OOSH settings.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
Collaborate with colleagues and families to support children's individual needs and interests.
Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organisational policies.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications: Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent, or working towards this qualification and registered with an RTO.
Previous experience working with children in a preschool or OOSH setting.
Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Working with Children Check clearance.
