Senior Business Process Lead Contract, 3 months | Melbourne We're working with a large national organisation currently in the middle of a major systems transformation, moving off legacy ERP and CRM platforms onto Microsoft Dynamics, with a parallel shift to a current CMS platform.
It's a genuinely hands on build phase, not a maintenance role, and they need someone who can roll their sleeves up.
What you'll actually be doing: Most of the process documentation that exists today is basic and incomplete, so you'll be building out detailed, granular process maps from the ground up across several priority areas, including the digital platform transition (new content, configuration and governance workflows).
You'll be working closely with the business to validate these as the organisation evolves, not just capturing what exists today.
A big part of this engagement is coaching too.
There are three business analysts on the team who are strong on process but haven't done deep process architecture work before, and part of your mandate is to lift their capability so they can carry this forward once you're gone.
What they need to see from you:



Real transformation experience, not a purely BAU or operational process background Comfort operating in an environment that's still figuring some things out as it goes, rather than one with mature, fixed processes Good to have, not essential : Government or not for profit experience, particularly if you're used to less structured, ambiguous environments Specific tooling background isn't a deal breaker for them Worth flagging: if your background is mostly large banks or telcos with very rigid, structured process environments, this one might feel like a different kind of challenge, so it's worth thinking about whether that flexibility is a fit for you Logistics: Three month contract Melbourne based team, some interstate collaboration via Teams Immediate start preferred, up to two weeks notice accepted If this sounds like your kind of project, get in touch.
