You will work across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with developers, project managers, business analysts and ICT support teams The successful Associate IBM Mainframe Developer will be offered an initial 12-month contract with the view to be extended , based in Canberra and primarily onsite.
The successful Associate IBM Mainframe Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to: Develop, test and maintain enterprise mainframe applications.
Integrate software components and support code deployments.
Troubleshoot incidents and resolve complex technical issues.
Maintain technical documentation and improve development processes.
The successful Associate IBM Mainframe Developer will have experience in the following: COBOL, PL/I, CICS, JCL, VSAM and DB2 .
IBM mainframe operating systems including z/OS and z/VSE .
Mainframe debugging, telemetry and monitoring tools.
Software development, testing, integration and technical support.
