About the Position We're excited to welcome two Practice Supervisors to our Cairns Intensive Family Support (IFS) team.
In this leadership role, you'll support and develop practitioners to deliver high-quality services that create lasting change for children and families.
Combining practice leadership, coaching and mentoring with a strong focus on child safety and family wellbeing, you'll help drive positive outcomes while building the capability and confidence of those around you.
Level 6 SCHCADS Award.
Salary range: $115,340 - $120,441 + Superannuation.
Full-time, government-funded contract opportunity until 30 September ****, with anticipated funding renewal through to 30 June ****.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and inspire practitioners through coaching, supervision and career development to deliver high-quality, evidence-informed support to families.
Drive best-practice outcomes by providing expert guidance on child protection risk, safety planning, case management and engagement with families experiencing complex challenges.
Strengthen team capability by mentoring staff in key practice frameworks and facilitating individual, group and field-based learning opportunities.
Make a broader impact by fostering strong stakeholder partnerships, supporting service performance and helping families build safer, stronger futures.

About You Hold a relevant tertiary qualification (allied health, social work, human services), with professional registration (if required) and a membership in a skilled association (desirable).
At least five (5) years' experience working with children and families, preferably with time spent working within a trauma-informed framework.
Relevant experience supervising staff in similar role.
Eligibility to work in Australia (proof of eligibility required), including holding or obtaining required checks (Working with Children Check or professional exemption).
Current driver's licence.
