We are currently seeking a Production Assembly Operator to join a busy manufacturing workplace specialising in the assembly of truck axles.
This is a hands-on production role involving the assembly of brake and suspension components onto truck axles.
The position would suit someone who enjoys practical work, is physically capable, takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.
About the Role Your key responsibilities will include: Assembling brake and suspension components onto truck axles Using a range of hand and power tools Operating overhead cranes to safely move components Operating forklifts as required Following production processes, work instructions and quality standards Reading and interpreting basic drawings and assembly instructions Working efficiently to meet daily production requirements Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment Taking responsibility for the quality of your own work Undertaking other production and warehouse duties as required About You To be successful in this role, you will: Have experience in a manufacturing, production,
mechanical or assembly environment Previous truck assembly or heavy vehicle manufacturing experience will be highly regarded Be confident using hand and power tools Be physically capable of performing manual and repetitive tasks Be comfortable working in a busy production environment Have good attention to detail Have a solid focus on safety and quality Be reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team Have good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions Hold a current forklift licence and/or have overhead crane experience (highly regarded) Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and a genuine team attitude.

As you gain experience and demonstrate your capability, you'll have the opportunity to be cross-trained across different areas of the business , including additional production and warehouse functions.
