Duties The Aboriginal Trainee Warehousing and Logistics Officer will be supported through a training program.
This will include nationally recognised training and practical work experience to undertake the tasks described in this document effectively.
The Trainee will be support in order to develop skills to; Deliver a range of administration functions that support the Distribution Centre's operations.




Facilitate an effective delivery of service within a prison environment whilst maintaining high standards of inventory control and security.
Response to enquiries in a timely and professional manner Participate and contribute actively as a member of the team.
Contribute to the delivery and maintenance of efficient work practices and processes.
The Aboriginal Trainee Warehousing and Logistics Officer will be placed in the Northern Country Distribution Centre at the Port Augusta Prison.
Special Conditions The Trainee will be required to actively participate and compete a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations during the course of their contract.
Section 47 of the Public Sector Act **** applies in conjunction with other provisions of the act and other applicable industrial entitlements.
The incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete a National Criminal History Check; A current South Australian Driver's Licence / or working towards is essential; A flexible approach to working hours is required; Some interstate and intrastate travel will be required which may necessitate overnight absences.
