The Opportunity -Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Warehouse Operator (Storeperson) to join the AH-64 Apache sustainment and support team.
Program overviewThe AH-64E Apache program provides advanced attack helicopter capability to the Australian Defence Force, enabling precision strike, armed reconnaissance and close air support.
This program sustains a critical combat capability, supports interoperability with coalition partners, and underpins Australia's land and joint operations.

What you'll get to do:
* Be a vital part of the Supply Chain Capability and contribute to the business growth strategy
* Handle, store and distribute Defence aviation materiel
* Ensure compliance with BDA and ADF safe warehouse operation policy's
* Support Disposal recommendations and action as required
* Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate stock recording methods in accordance with Defence supply policy
* Support the development of mitigation plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting the supply chain
* Work closely with warehouse team in all other activity's that arise
Who we're looking for:
* Demonstrated 3 to 5 years + experience in Defence aerospace/Foreign Military Sales (FMS) supply chain management
* Experience in Defence warehousing and distribution systems and methodologies




* A working knowledge of the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual or similar and the application of warehousing principles and methodologies.
* A strong working knowledge of Defence Aviation Logistic IT systems such as ERP SAP
* The ability to work within a team
* Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence
* High Risk work licence
