We are seeking a highly capable Office Manager to lead our depot's operational administration in Goomeri, QLD.
In this role, you will take full ownership of depot business services, coordinate daily administrative workflows, supervise office personnel, and uphold operational standards across the facility.
Key Responsibilities Review, design, and optimize administrative systems and operational procedures to ensure seamless depot operations and elevate customer service benchmarks.
Coordinate human resources across the office, including supervising support personnel, identifying skill gaps, organizing training sessions, and managing work rosters.
Allocate daily tasks and functional duties to administrative staff while tracking workflow output and monitoring overall team productivity against set benchmarks.
Oversee business accounts and operational documentation, taking charge of invoice generation, billing reconciliations, payment follow-ups, and job order tracking.
Serve as the central communication link between front-desk staff, fleet and maintenance personnel,
external vendors, and commercial clients to resolve operational hurdles and client inquiries promptly.
Supervise depot inventory, office machinery, and station consumables, arranging routine servicing and replenishments to ensure operational continuity.
Enforce strict compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations, environmental standards, and statutory transport and petroleum guidelines within the office environment.
Collate departmental performance data and prepare structured weekly and monthly administrative reports to support senior leadership in business planning.
Qualifications Requirements At least 1 year of full-time supervisory experience as an Office Manager, Service Department Administrative Manager, or in a closely related operational administration role.
Demonstrated capability in rostering, staff supervision, and coordinating daily office workflows.
Robust working knowledge of basic bookkeeping, billing, invoicing, and office records management.
Experience in maintaining safety protocols and regulatory compliance in a workshop, depot, or industrial business setting.
Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills when dealing with internal teams, external contractors, and corporate customers.
