The Salvation Army Youth Services offer an integrated suite of programs engaging with young people across Australia.
Our services create intentional avenues for young people to explore opportunities, build support networks, and access, participate in and contribute to their communities.
Youth services provide a diverse range of programs which include housing and homelessness, education, employment and training, AOD support, social and community activities, specialist therapeutic responses and youth justice programs.
Youth Services staff work within a trauma all staff are expected to work creatively towards ensuring that the support needs of all young people are the first priority.




About the role Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness by delivering holistic case management and housing support services through Oasis Transitional Accommodation Service and OASIS drop-in centre.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders to help young people achieve stable, sustainable housing and develop the capabilities required to maintain long-term tenancies.
Guided by our model of care, you will apply and promote best-practice frameworks to ensure impactful, client-focused outcomes.
This full time, permanent position is based in Surry Hills, NSW, and is remunerated in line with the SCHADS Award, Crisis Accommodation Level 2.
Hours are Monday to Friday 38 hours, between 8am-8pm, with occasional weekends.
The role requires some work outside of business hours to meet client and service needs and participation in out of hours on call approx.
once every 6 weeks.
