Redland City Council is seeking an experienced Field Officer (Parks Conservation) to join the team in Thornlands.
This is a hands-on role supporting the maintenance of parks, conservation areas, roadsides, and streetscapes across the Redlands Coast.
Role: Field Officer (Parks and Conservation) Council: Redland City Council Location: Thornlands Pay Rate: $***** per hour Engagement Type: Casual Dates: ASAP- 1 January **** Hours: 6:30am – 3:45pm Key duties: Undertake parks, grounds and natural area maintenance Complete horticultural, arboricultural and landscaping works Operate and maintain a range of plant,



tools and equipment Carry out physically demanding outdoor maintenance tasks Identify and report maintenance and safety issues Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality Council services Requirements: Current Class C Driver Licence – mandatory Ability to undertake physically demanding outdoor work Robust understanding of safe work practices Highly regarded: Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent Certificate III in Arboriculture Landscape Construction, including Playground Inspector – Level 2 Conservation and Land Management, Fire Management or equivalent Apply now with an updated CV outlining your relevant experience, qualifications and licence.
