We are currently seeking a Production Manager/ Senior Supervisor to join our dynamic team in QLD.
As a Production Manager/ Senior Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing the production process and maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service.
In addition to your initial impact managing operations, you're joining an experienced team with career development and progression opportunities available throughout the region.
Responsibilities: Effectively coordinate daily production plan schedules.
Allocate work to multiple teams or work groups or individuals.
Maintain a safe system of work for the workplace.
Take a proactive approach to all safety matters including leading by example.
Ensure the team are recording production output, downtime, reject, rework on sheets provided and communicating appropriately with their teams.
Consult with the Production Manager and/or HR on employee relations, grievance disciplinary matters.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure timely submission of information for payroll related matters.
Communicate the daily/ weekly goals to the team.
Ensure competent performance in area and address deficiencies, as far as possible, by providing appropriate tools, training coaching support.
Supervise appropriate use and maintenance of assets in area – moulds, materials.
Liaise with production management and other supervisors for efficient resource allocation.
Ensure products meet quality management standards.
Ensure compliance with critical quality rules and procedures.
Provide leadership and support to the production team.
Handle administrative tasks and contribute to operational improvements.
Requirements: Experience in prestress or precast or reinforced concrete manufacture.
Prestress experience with large beams essential.
Previous experience in a production or supervisory role.
Relevant Trade qualifications (ideal).
Multiple machinery operation tickets (ideal).
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Sound problem solving skills.
Excellent organisational and time management skills to meet production deadlines.
Effective leadership abilities to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
