We have a outstanding part-time opportunity available for a Permit to Work Officer.
The role has a strong health and safety element to it.
It's based near Naval Base/Kwinana and is due to start asap.
The role would operate from between 16 to 30 hours per week, with the possibility of ramping up over Christmas and New Year.
The rate of pay is $***** + super per hour.
This role would suit someone who is seeking a part-time role.
If you're a student, in say Health and Safety, the role could be a perfect complement to your studies.
Reporting to the Safety Coordinator, the role is responsible for coordinating work permits to ensure the safety of all personnel.
You'll be responsible for: Managing and administer the Permit to Work (PTW) system across operational and maintenance activities.
Reviewing and approve permits and supporting documentation to ensure work is safe, compliant, and authorised You'll ideally have the following, although if you don't, we'd still love to hear from you.
Certification in Work Health Safety or knowledge and experience of Work Health and Safety in a heavy industrial/mining industry (desirable).
Knowledge of the WA WHS legislation,



regulations and practices (desirable).
Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong computer literacy skills.
