About the Position: WorkPac are seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors for a role based on site working an 8/6 roster, FIFO from Perth.
Key responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance activities across the mining operation on an 8/6 FIFO roster.
Lead and support a team of electricians and electrical trades personnel, allocating daily tasks and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
Hold and maintain the required WA Electrical Supervisor (S26) authorisation and ensure electrical work is performed in accordance with legislative and site requirements.
Provide technical guidance and oversight to the electrical maintenance team, troubleshooting faults and supporting complex electrical issues.
Plan and coordinate preventative and breakdown maintenance of fixed plant, mobile equipment and site electrical infrastructure.
Ensure all electrical installations, inspections, testing and maintenance activities comply with relevant WA electrical legislation, Australian Standards and site procedures.
Manage electrical isolations, permits, switching and High Voltage (HV) activities where applicable.
Review and approve electrical work scopes, job plans, risk assessments and permits prior to work commencing.
Monitor work quality, productivity and completion against maintenance schedules and operational priorities.
