Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service Be a part of a new innovative service in Queensland – Perinatal Acute Mental Health Hospital in the Home (PAMH-HITH), whereby women/birthing people in the perinatal period with severe/acute perinatal mental illness receive intensive hospital equivalent care in their homes, remaining with their infants, their family and cultural environments, connected to community supports and avoiding unnecessary separation trauma.
In your role you will...
Provide high quality, best practice within patient's homes and/or appropriate facilities to perinatal mental health patients.
Initiate, encourage and participate in research, evaluation and evidence-based treatment and care aimed at achieving demonstrable improvements in patient care and service outcomes and that reflect contemporary medical practice.
