Immediately start for 4 weeks Turn complex project data into dashboards that drive better decisions Support scheduling and project controls through meaningful data and reporting About the Role We are seeking a Data Analyst to support a busy Scheduling team through the development, maintenance and improvement of reporting, analytics and dashboard solutions.
This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with scheduling and project controls data to help project teams understand schedule performance, data quality, progress and tracking.
You will use Power BI, MS Project and Microsoft tools including PowerApps and SharePoint , while also identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, automate tasks and make information easier to understand and use.
Responsibilities Develop, maintain and improve Power BI dashboards, visual reports and analytical products for project controls and scheduling.
Analyse project schedule data and work with schedulers to develop and refine reporting metrics and KPIs.
Develop schedule health checks, quality assurance reports, tracking tools and automated solutions, including VBA macros.
Support existing reporting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation and user experience.
Undertake data mapping, data integration and data flow analysis across project controls systems and reporting platforms.
Validate data accuracy, completeness and integrity to ensure reliable reporting outcomes.
Investigate data issues and work with stakeholders to resolve data quality concerns.
Document reporting processes, business rules and metric definitions to support consistency and knowledge sharing.
About You You will be a practical and solutions-focused Data Analyst who enjoys working with data and turning it into helpful information for project teams.
You will ideally have: Strong Power BI development skills , including data modelling, DAX and visual design.
Experience working with project controls, scheduling or project management data .
The ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into practical reporting solutions.
An understanding of data architecture, data mapping, data transformation and data governance principles.
Experience with Microsoft Project, Project Online or similar scheduling systems will be highly regarded.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and deliver practical outcomes.
A proactive approach and an interest in improving existing processes rather than simply maintaining the status quo.
