The National Systems Specialist implements, supports and maintains the construction estimating and workflow management software across locations.
The role takes new office from sign-up to fully working on the national systems, then keeps those systems running, current and well used.
The role is hands-on and technical, and works as part of the Head Office team.
Day to day it works alongside the National General Manager, the directors, the IT and software development staff, and the administration team, and with the estimators, supervisors and office staff in each franchisee business.
Priorities are set with the National General Manager.
This role requires deep working knowledge of residential building estimating and construction administration, patience and clarity when training people who are not technical, disciplined testing and documentation habits, the ability to work well in a team environment, and the ability to build trusted relationships across a geographically dispersed network.

• Log, prioritise and resolve support requests, and keep the requester informed until each is closed.




• Raise faults with the vendor, track them to resolution and confirm the fix.
• Deliver initial training to each operators estimators, supervisors, contract administrators and office staff, in person and remotely.
• Provide ongoing training as features are released and for new staff.
• Build and maintain the national estimating templates, cost library structure, purchase order and call-up templates, and standard construction workflows.
• Work with the Head Office IT and software development staff on the integrations between the estimating and Qualifications Experience Essential • Hands-on experience with residential construction estimating software (for example Evolve, Databuild, Buildxact, BuildLogic, Cubit or similar) and construction job management or workflow software.
• Working knowledge of the residential building process: estimating, quoting, purchase orders, call-ups, variations, supplier pricing and job costing.
• Experience implementing, configuring or administering business software for other users.
• Experience training people who are not technical, one to one and in groups.
• Robust written documentation skills: test plans, how-to guides, status reports.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Able to regularly travel to sites across Australia.
Positon is for immediate start and remote / hybrid not an option, person will need to already be based in Shepparton area, or willing to relcate to the Shepaprton area.
