Hadwen's is creating a new role for someone who can turn good ideas into practical systems—and bring people with them as those systems are introduced. The role is based at our Bowen Hills facility because building good systems requires understanding the work and the people doing it.
This is an opportunity to build something meaningful, work directly with our General Manager and Director, and make the role your own.
We work hard, help one another and take pride in doing things properly. We also share lunches, celebrate achievements and make time to recognise the people behind the work.
This is a hands-on role in a small team. We all pitch in when support is needed, so at times you will answer the telephone or help a customer at the front counter while a reception team member is away. It is not the main purpose of the role, but it is part of how our team works together.

What you will help us build
We are developing the
Hadwen's Operating System
, or HOS.
HOS will bring together the systems, workflows, reporting and meeting routines that help our team understand what is expected, see how we are performing and solve problems before they grow.
Some parts already exist, some need improving and others still need to be built.




Reporting to our General Manager and working closely with our Director and department leaders, you will:
Turn ideas and problems into simple systems people can use.
Improve reporting, financial processes and data accuracy.
Map and document important workflows.
Develop useful scorecards and reporting routines.
Find practical ways to save time, reduce costs and improve quality.
Introduce automation and AI where they add genuine value.
Train and support people as new systems are introduced.
Follow improvements through and measure whether they worked.
Make important business knowledge easier to find and share.
We will teach you our industry and give you access to the people and information you need. In return, we want you to listen, ask good questions, bring fresh thinking and respectfully tell us when something could work better.
The person we hope to meet
You will probably be someone who:
Enjoys understanding how things work and finding a better way.
Listens to people before changing their systems.
Can bring people with you instead of simply telling them what to do.
Is organised, dependable and follows things through.
Communicates clearly and is comfortable asking questions.
Has sound business or financial understanding.
Is interested in systems, technology, automation and AI.
Wants to keep learning and taking greater ownership.
Your experience could come from operations, office or finance management, business improvement, project coordination, systems implementation, quality, compliance or customer service. Your mindset, ability and way of working with people matter more to us than having the perfect job title.
Collision repair, insurance or iBodyShop experience would be helpful, but it is not essential. We can teach you our industry.
