About the Opportunities

We are excited to announce future openings for multiple HR Officer roles - Clerk Grade 3/4, within our Shared Services HR Team.
n
We welcome applications from individuals with experience in HR service delivery. From this recruitment process, a recruitment pool will be created to fill upcoming temporary and ongoing HR Officer roles - Clerk Grade 3/4 across EDConnect Directorate.

About the role
n
The HR Officer delivers accurate and productive HR transactional services, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality, while supporting informed decision-making and continuous improvement through effective use of technology and reporting.
n
About you
n
To be successful, you will:
n
n
Demonstrate strong skills in delivering accurate HR transactional services and maintaining meticulous records in line with established procedures.
n
Exhibit the ability to provide clear, precise information and guidance to internal customers, while effectively escalating complex issues when needed.
n
Maintain and administer databases with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with governance and security policies.
n
Show proficiency in applying technology to improve service efficiency and continuously review and enhance processes and systems for better service delivery.
n

Note: the selection process will include a range of assessment techniques to assist in determining your suitability for the role. Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment screening for this role which includes a National Criminal History Check.

As a condition of employment, successful candidates not currently employed by the Department must provide a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance number. Renewal is not required after the WWCC expires, as long as you remain in a non-child-related role. Employer obligations only apply while the WWCC is valid.

Candidates must have Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, Current Zealand citizens or a valid work visa). Ongoing (permanent) roles are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents and New Zealand citizens, while temporary roles welcome applicants with a visa.
