About Us
We are a well-established and respected live entertainment, hospitality and events business based in Melbourne's inner north. At the heart of our local community, we present live music, events, food and hospitality experiences in a dynamic, creative and welcoming environment.
We are proud to embrace diversity and create spaces where artists, audiences, staff and guests feel welcome.
About the Role
This is a hands‐on, varied and meaningful role leading the marketing and social media activity of a busy and growing entertainment and hospitality business.
You will take ownership of the day‐to‐day promotion of our venue, live events, food and beverage offering, brand activity and community presence. You will work closely with business leadership, venue staff, artists, promoters and external partners to develop engaging campaigns that drive ticket sales, bookings, audience growth and customer engagement.
This role would suit someone who understands that great marketing is both creative and practical: producing strong content, staying on top of a fast‐moving event calendar, communicating clearly, and making sure every campaign is delivered accurately and on time.
Social Media & Content
Manage social media channels across key platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and other relevant channels.
Plan, create, schedule and publish engaging content promoting live events, artist announcements, venue activity, food and beverage offers, functions and community initiatives.
Develop content ideas that reflect the personality, energy and diversity of the venue and its program.
Coordinate photography, video, artist assets, artwork and other campaign materials.
Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual presence across all social platforms.
Monitor audience engagement, respond to enquiries and identify opportunities to build stronger online community connection.
Track performance and provide regular reporting on social media growth, engagement and campaign outcomes.

Marketing & Campaign Delivery
Develop and deliver marketing campaigns for live music, ticketed events, hospitality activations, venue programming and special events.
Work with artists, promoters, agents and external partners to coordinate campaign assets, announcements and promotional activity.
Prepare event listings, website copy, email marketing, ticketing information and promotional materials.
Coordinate paid digital advertising campaigns, including Meta advertising, with support from leadership and external suppliers where required.
Assist with audience development, customer database growth and email marketing strategy.
Identify marketing opportunities through local partnerships, media, community networks, influencers and relevant industry channels.
Ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on schedule and in line with event deadlines and commercial objectives.
Brand, Venue & Business Support
Help shape and protect the venue's brand identity across all customer‐facing communications.
Work closely with venue operations and programming teams to promote food and beverage offers, functions, special events and key business initiatives.
Support the planning and delivery of seasonal campaigns, major announcements and venue‐led events.
Keep marketing calendars, campaign schedules, asset folders and reporting documents organised and up to date.
Contribute ideas to improve customer experience, audience engagement, ticket sales and the overall profile of the business.
Assist with general business projects where marketing, communications and venue coordination intersect.
About You
Proven experience in marketing, social media, communications,

content creation or a related role.
A genuine interest in live music, events, hospitality, arts or community‐based businesses.
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write clear, engaging and audience‐appropriate copy.
Highly organised, detail‐focused and capable of managing multiple campaigns and deadlines at once.
Comfortable creating and coordinating social content across Instagram, Facebook and other relevant platforms.
Experience with email marketing, ticketing platforms, Meta advertising, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools is highly regarded.
Commercially minded, with an understanding of how marketing supports ticket sales, bookings, customer engagement and venue growth.
A proactive problem‐solver who takes ownership and follows projects through to completion.
Comfortable working in a fast‐paced venue environment, including around event schedules and key campaign deadlines.
A great attitude and a valuable sense of humour — we take our work seriously but know how to have fun.
Professional, reliable, cooperative and confident working with a wide variety of people.
What We Offer
A creative and genuinely interesting role within Melbourne's live entertainment, hospitality and events industry.
The opportunity to shape the marketing presence of a respected and community‐focused business.
A varied position across live music, venue programming, hospitality, food and beverage, ticketing and special events.
Wages negotiable based on experience — we want to attract the right person.
Flexible full‐time or part‐time arrangement to suit the successful candidate.
Hours and structure to be discussed with the successful candidate.
A thorough handover period to support your transition into the role and set you up for success.
Work alongside a friendly, cohesive team led by a respectful and supportive business owner.
Be part of a business that is truly at the heart of Melbourne's vibrant inner north.
