About Wagga Health Centre
n
The Wagga Health Centre is located at RAAF Base Wagga at Forest Hill, SE of Wagga Wagga and has been an integral part of the community since ****. Known as the "Home of the Airman", it houses the RAAF schools of Technical Training, Administration & Logistics and Postgraduate Studies. Services provided include primary medical, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy. Health Centre staff may be required to work across Wagga & Kapooka. Standard hours of operation are generally ********* Monday to Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).

What you'll do

Deliver high-quality mental health care to Defence members
n
Conductingfitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care.
n
Undertaking assessments, interventions, managing medications, formulating treatment and care plans for individuals and group education sessions
n
Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environmentwhere patientwellness is paramount
n

What you bring
n
n
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
One of the following:
n
ACMHN credentialed
n
Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing
n
Mental Health trained nurse / UK trained undergraduate Mental Health Nurse
n
Minimum two years' Post RN general registration experience within last five yearsin mental health within a Primary Healthcare Setting or Specialist Mental Health Setting
n
Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in 'FocussedPsychologicalStrategies' and 'Psychological Therapy' as per Medicare Schedule
n
CurrentCPRcertification (HLTAID009)
n
AustralianCitizenshiprequired to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
n
