We're exclusively partnering with a quality early childhood education and care service in the Armidale region looking for an experienced
Co-Director
to join its leadership team. This is an opportunity for a proactive ECE leader who brings energy, initiative and a positive approach to leadership. You'll work alongside an amazing Co-Director and supportive Owner, sharing responsibility for the service while still having the autonomy and trust to make decisions, take initiative and lead confidently. They're not looking for someone to simply maintain what's already there. They want someone who can contribute ideas, build on a positive culture and help an already quality service continue to grow.

About the Role
As Co-Director, you'll share leadership of the service and work closely with your fellow Director to keep the team, operations and quality practice moving forward.
You'll each bring your own strengths to the partnership while maintaining shared accountability for the success of the service.
We're looking for someone who can

ee what needs doing and make it happen. Someone comfortable making decisions independently, supporting educators, solving problems and stepping in when required, while also valuing collaboration and communication.
Most importantly, we want someone who can bring positive energy to the team and contribute to a culture where educators enjoy coming to work and doing their best for children.
About You




You may already be a Centre Director looking for a different leadership environment, or an experienced ECE leader ready for your next challenge.
An experienced and confident ECE leader
Proactive, organised and able to work autonomously
Positive and energetic in the way you lead others
Someone who enjoys building and developing team culture
Comfortable making decisions and following things through
Cooperative and able to build a strong Co-Director partnership

Willing to get involved and help wherever the service needs you

Child Safeguarding
Looking for an individual who understands, promotes and upholds the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. In this role, you'll help create an environment where children's safety and wellbeing are always the highest priority.
Child safeguarding methods include, but are not limited to:
NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain.
Thorough screening.
Reference checks.
National criminal history check.
