About the Role
Nexa Solar Australia is looking for a
highly organised, proactive and experienced Operations Coordinator
to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who
understands the solar industry and the end-to-end process
, from signed customer contract through to installation, compliance, payment and job completion.
You will work closely with our
sales team, installers, suppliers, finance providers and customers
to ensure jobs progress smoothly and efficiently.
We already have two team members working within this department
, so you will be joining an established team and helping share and manage the growing workload.
Remuneration will be determined based on your solar industry experience, knowledge and the level of responsibility you can take on.
Key Responsibilities
Manage solar and battery jobs from
post-sale through to installation and completion
Submit and monitor
grid connection applications
Prepare and process
STC and compliance documentation
Coordinate installation schedules with customers and installers
Liaise with suppliers regarding
equipment orders, stock and deliveries
Follow up installers for required documentation, including
COCs, photos, invoices and compliance forms
Ensure jobs are correctly documented and ready for
STC processing and finance payment
Maintain accurate
CRM records, job notes and statuses
Identify issues or missing information before they delay an installation or payment
Communicate with sales representatives regarding job requirements and variations
Assist with invoicing,



payments and general solar administration
Help ensure jobs move efficiently through the entire operational process
About You
We are particularly interested in candidates with
previous experience working for a solar retailer, installer or renewable energy business
.
You will ideally have:
Previous
solar industry experience
Good understanding of the
end-to-end residential solar and battery process
Experience with grid applications, STCs and solar compliance documentation
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously
Confidence dealing with installers, customers, suppliers and salespeople
Ability to identify problems and
proactively find solutions
Experience using
CRM systems, Google Workspace and spreadsheets
Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced workplace
Most importantly, we want someone who
takes ownership of their work
rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done next.
