About the Role:
TheInformatics team is a newly established and growing function within CHS, with an exciting chance to shape the future of clinical digital health across the organisation. Working at the intersection of clinical practice, technology and strategy, the team is building capability that will strengthen CHS's digital maturity and enable better ways of working and better outcomes for patients.
AsSenior Clinical Informatics Officer, you'll provide senior clinical informatics leadership to support, optimise and enhance theDigital Health Record (DHR). You'll bring together your clinical expertise, digital health knowledge and understanding of operational workflows to ensure the DHR is safe, effective, clinically meaningful and aligned with the needs and priorities of CHS.
This is akey role in driving the ongoing improvement and capability uplift of the DHR. You'll lead and contribute to projects, digital initiatives and change programs that improve clinical outcomes, enhance usability and create a more effective digital experience for staff.
You'll have the opportunity tomake a tangible impact on the future of clinical digital health at CHS. You'll identify opportunities for improvement, translate clinical and operational needs into practical digital solutions, and use data and insights to inform decisions and measure outcomes. You'll provide expert advice on DHR configuration and optimisation, lead change initiatives, build capability through education and training, and partner with clinical teams,
senior stakeholders and Digital Canberra to deliver meaningful improvements acrossusability, clinical decision support, reporting, quality and safety.
