This role is the primary HSEQ Professional servicing a large team across the Perth metro area and parts of regional WA. With a focus on building safety capability and engagement across operational teams, this is a great opportunity to help build a highly functional safety culture.
Our client is LGC Group, comprising of three main business units, Traffic Management, Equipment Hire; and Rail Services. They are a rapidly growing business servicing large scale projects across WA.
Description
Develop and implement HSEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
Provide training and guidance to staff on health, safety, and environmental practices.
Monitor and report on HSEQ performance metrics to senior management.
Investigate incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions as required.
Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and quality.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.




Oversee the preparation and submission of relevant compliance documentation.
Profile
A successful HSEQ Leader should have:
Strong knowledge of health, safety, environment, and quality standards within the construction sector.
Experience in developing and implementing HSEQ policies and procedures.
Experience with leading and contributing to ISO accreditation.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage with teams and stakeholders.
A solid drive to build culture and create capability across the organisation.
A relevant qualification in occupational health and safety or a related field.
Ability to stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
Job Offer
Competitive salary between $160,000 and $180,000 AUD + superannuation.
