We're looking for a passionate and experienced Service Manager to lead our Vermeer Service Department in Melbourne.

What You'll Be Doing
Oversee the day-to-day operations and financial performance of the Service Department
Recruit, develop and retain a high-performing team of Service Technicians
Lead by example across the entire department, assisting with workforce planning, job coordination, team supervision and the achievement of key metric targets.
Drive workshop presentation, customer engagement and service excellence by maintaining high standards of housekeeping, communication and operational execution.
Manage warranty costs,



workshop assets and departmental budgets in line with company expectations
Champion a robust safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Contribute to a culture of safety, innovation and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
Brings experience in service management, workshop operations or a similar leadership role
Has demonstrated commercial and financial management expertise
Possesses a strong technical and industry understanding
Has a proven ability to lead, mentor and develop teams to achieve shared goals
Brings experience with Lean manufacturing, 5S or continuous improvement programs
Has excellent communication, decision‐making and stakeholder management skills
Is focused on delivering outstanding customer experiences
Is safety conscious, solutions focused and ready to grow
A proactive team player who takes ownership and drives results
Is confident using business systems, reporting tools and computer applications
