Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking for a rewarding career? Griffin Marine Services Pty Ltd, a leading provider of marine services to Defence and commercial operators, is seeking skilled Fitters to join our growing team.
We have opportunities available in Hope Valley (WA), Sydney (NSW), Darwin (NT), Brisbane and Cairns (QLD).
As a Fitter with Griffin Marine Services, your responsibilities will include:
Performing fitting duties on marine vessels and industrial equipment, including assembly, installation, and maintenance.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
Conducting mechanical repairs and fault finding on various systems.
Using a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Ensuring work adheres to quality standards and technical specifications.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
At least 2 years of fitting experience, preferably in a marine or heavy industrial environment.
A good understanding of Safety and PPE requirements in an industrial workplace.
A current driver's licence and reliable transport.
The ability to work well in a team.
An OHS Construction Induction White Card.
Desirable (but not mandatory) requirements: Confined Space Entry,



Fire Sentry Training, and Working at Heights certification.

The salary for this position is $79,423 to $90,000 per year (dependent on your skills and experience).
