At Kennards Hire, our People & Culture team worksclosely with business leaders to create an engaged and positive workplace whereour people and culture thrives. We're looking for an experienced PeopleRelations Partner to join our team.
As a People Relations Partner, you provide trustedemployee relations and people advisory support across your partnering states,helping leaders create engaged teams, manage workplace issues effectively, andbuild great places to work.
You'll combine hands-on people advisory, while helping tonavigate workplace relations matters, legislative change, Enterprise Agreements,policies and employment frameworks across Australia and New Zealand.
You'll use your expertise to help leaders navigatecomplexity, manage risk and make confident, informed decisions.
What you'll be doing
As one of three People Relations Partners, reporting tothe GM People & Culture, each role partners with their allocated statesacross Australia and New Zealand, and takes ownership for key aspects of thebroader people relations function.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Providingpeople advisory support to leaders across Victoria and Western Australia, supportingother states across Australia, and Recent Zealand as required
Advisingand coaching leaders on performance, conduct, grievances and other peoplematters
Conductingworkplace investigations and supporting grievance resolution
Providingadvice on employment legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
Managementof the Enterprise Agreement, including payroll and recruitment teamqueries.
Monitoringlegislative changes and translating these into practical policies,processes and programs
Ownershipof employment contracts and people policy reviews and updates
Owningand progressing our Respect@Work plan and actions
Contributeto broader People & Cultural projects and initiatives
What we're looking for
You'll bring excellent coaching skills to support thecapability of leaders in the timely resolution of issues on the ground. To do this you will have strong employmentrelations experience, with the ability to balance technical knowledge withpractical advice that is aligned with Kennards Hire values and policies.
You'll bring:
Theability and confidence to coach and influence leaders at all levels acrossa dispersed operational business
Strongemployment relations experience, with the ability to manage complex peoplematters, including performance, grievances and investigations
Strongknowledge of employment legislation and practices across Australia and NewZealand, with experience interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements
Excellentwritten, consultation and negotiation skills
HRor related tertiary qualifications are preferred
