80,000-$100,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications

- Full-time position.
- Minimum one year work experience required.
- Minimum 1 year of solar installation/solar roofing experience required
- Experience in studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
- Experience in ordering and selecting materials, and preparing layouts
- Functional English required
- Installation of solar panels and mounting systems on residential and commercial properties
- Measuring, marking and setting out solar panel layouts in accordance with plans and specifications
- Installation of roof mounting systems, rails, brackets and associated equipment
- Working safely at heights and following all WHS requirements
- Identifying different roof types and selecting appropriate mounting methods
- Ensuring all installations are completed neatly, safely and to a high standard
- Working alongside electricians and other members of the installation team
- Loading, unloading and safely handling solar panels, equipment and materials
- Conducting pre-installation roof inspections and identifying potential issues
- Maintaining tools, equipment and a clean and safe worksite
- Interpret architectural drawings, construction plans and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, layouts and installation procedures.
- Measure, mark and set out roof structures,



framing components and mounting areas in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Select, measure, cut, shape and install timber, lightweight steel and other materials for roof structures, framing and structural supports.
- Construct, erect, install and modify roof framing, structural supports, mounting structures and associated fixtures for residential and commercial projects.
- Inspect roof structures, identify unsuitable or damaged components, and undertake repairs, replacements or modifications where required.
- Work alongside electricians and other trades to coordinate construction and installation works, ensuring alignment, positioning and structural integrity of completed works.
- Safely undertake carpentry tasks at heights, maintain tools and equipment, and comply with WHS requirements while working independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Positive communication and time-management skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and at heights
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Current Australian driver's license or able to obtain one before commencing employment
- White Card required
- Working at Heights certification preferred/required
- Reliable transport
- Availability to work full-time, Monday-Friday, with overtime where required
