About the Opportunity Advance Thinking is seeking an experienced Senior Service Now Developer to join a newly formed enterprise Service Now team with one of our key clients.

This is a hands-on senior role for someone who knows the Service Now platform deeply and wants the opportunity to influence how it is built, governed and improved - not simply maintain an existing setting.

You'll initially join through Advance Thinking on a 4-5 month contract, with a structured pathway to transition into a permanent position directly with our client.

Working across a broad Service Now roadmap, you'll deliver solutions spanning ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, IRM, CSDM and enterprise integrations, while helping establish strong platform standards and ways of working.

The Role You'll combine hands-on Service Now development with technical problem-solving, platform governance and stakeholder engagement across a complex enterprise setting.

Key responsibilities include:

- Design, configure and develop Service Now solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD and IRM.
- Build integrations and automation using Integration Hub, APIs and platform scripting.
- Implement and govern CSDM and CMDB standards across the platform.
- Configure and enhance Service Catalogues, workflows and enterprise processes.
- Support ITOM capabilities including Discovery and infrastructure workflows.
- Provide technical input from solution scoping and design through to deployment.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, automate manual activities and improve user experience.
- Maintain strong platform security, development and governance standards.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and vendors to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Provide technical documentation,



knowledge sharing and upskilling to internal team members.

What We're Looking For You'll be an experienced Service Now Developer / Engineer who can operate autonomously and is comfortable taking ownership within a large enterprise environment.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Strong hands-on Service Now development and configuration experience.
- Demonstrated experience across ITSM and ITOM, with exposure to HRSD and/or IRM highly regarded.
- Strong knowledge of CSDM, CMDB and Service Now data architecture.
- Experience building enterprise integrations using Integration Hub and APIs.
- Strong Service Now scripting and workflow automation capability.
- Experience delivering within complex enterprise environments.
- A solid understanding of ITIL and Agile/Lean delivery practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business stakeholders.

Service Now CSA and/or relevant CIS certifications are highly regarded, as is previous experience within utilities, critical infrastructure or other regulated enterprise environments.
